Belize Fishing Tours
Fishing in Belize is unlike anything you’ve tried before plus, you won’t have to make up any fish tales because you’ll have selfies to prove your prowess! Known for its extensive coral formations, dense mangrove systems, and plentiful islands, Belizean waters are home to more than 500 species of fish. In 1993 under the Fisheries Act, the Glover’s Reef Marine Reserve was established as a protected area with five different management zones. There are regulations for each zone which encourage catch & release. But don’t worry about keeping track of all that, our experienced guides will handle the details, and whether you’re an avid, intermediate, or novice fisherman, our fishing tours cater to all levels of experience. To make it even more exciting, our top-notch chef will be more than happy to cook your catch of the day to your specifications upon return to the resort. Try your luck on the flats with our Fly Fishing Tour or book a Troll, Drop, or Combo Tour.
DEEP SEA FISHING TOUR

Join us for an exciting, action-packed day in a pristine environment with our deep sea fishing charter as you venture beyond the Belize Barrier Reef System aboard one of our fully equipped offshore fishing vessels. Designed and rigged for serious sport fishing, this Belize fishing charter includes high-quality gear such as 50/80 Alutecnos and 80 Penn reels, all while guided by Captain Roland and his experienced crew.
Captain Roland is a legend in his own right, known throughout Belize for his vast knowledge of local waters and for having won several fishing tournaments across Central America. Add in a bit of Belizean luck (and rum!), and you are sure to win the fight of a lifetime!
Depending on your fishing goals, you can enjoy a combination of lure and live bait fishing for wahoo, dorado, tuna, and blue marlin. You may also have the opportunity to stop for deep drop fishing at depths of 600+ feet for larger grouper and snapper species. Explore the outer reef system and surrounding waters near several renowned marine reserves such as South Water Caye, Glover’s Reef Atoll, Point of Reef, and/or Gladden Spit, depending on sea conditions and the species you are targeting.
Our vessels are equipped for a comfortable day on the water, and we provide water, soft drinks, beer, and rum as well as lunch to enjoy throughout the day. Private fishing charters can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, with a maximum capacity of 10 guests depending on the vessel used.

Blue Water Troll Fishing Tour
Reel in the catch of the day!
Glover’s Reef Atoll is an angler’s paradise with its abundance of thriving marine life. On this blue water trolling excursion, our local Belize fishing guides take you along the reef’s edge and nearby open waters where predatory fish patrol the drop-offs.
Using trolling techniques, lines are set behind the boat as it moves steadily through these productive waters, giving anglers the chance to hook into fast-moving species such as barracuda, kingfish, jacks, wahoo, and grouper.
Our experienced local guides know these waters intimately and rely on their knowledge of tides, wind patterns, moon phases, and weather conditions to position the boat in the most productive fishing areas. This tour offers a fun and exciting offshore fishing experience along the reef’s edge and surrounding blue waters, without venturing as far offshore as our deep sea fishing charter.
